The APL was started in 2001 and serves the Greater Philadelphia Region, South East Pennsylvania and Lancaster County PA. League play is conducted weekly with 8-Ball, 9-Ball and Scotch Doubles formats. The teams have a 25 point cap with each player assigned a handicap level ranging from 2 to 7 which makes the APL a fair, fun and exciting pool league. The APL calculates players handicaps by keeping track of innings, balls left on table, defensive shots and wins/losses. The APL is a call pocket l.
